The tip section maintains a softness to allow a confident striking, but the all through action reacts beautifully to the kicks and lunges of a hooked fish. The quicker the fish come and the better the quality of fish, then the better the rod performs. Large Roach and Dace can be easily swung to hand.

The 14ft Trilogy XS Match rod is a firmer, stiffer version, with a little more backbone to enable the angler to cast further and strike harder at a bigger distance. Line pick up is rapid to cut down on missed bites. This version can be used for the bigger fish such as Chub and Barbel and to also give the angler to exert more power in snaggy swims. Will also cope with fast flowing waters or when the river is in flood.
All rods made from a very high M Series modular Carbon, with low resin content. This gives the rod the lightness and slim diameter, but allows the action and power of the rod.
